Historic applications are stored in a variety of formats, including electronically and on microfiche film. Enquiries regarding planning applications not available to view online should be made in writing to Development Management at Boston Borough Council either by emailing planning@boston.gov.uk or at the postal address listed above.


Making Comments on Planning Applications

Representations in relation to planning applications can be made online via this website once an application has been opened by clicking on ‘Comment’ which can be found under Case Officer. Representations can also be made via email to planning@boston.gov.uk or by post to Planning Services, Municipal Buildings, West Street, Boston, PE21 8QR.


The Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 requires that any written correspondence must be made available for public inspection. It is not therefore possible to treat your comments in confidence and any correspondence received will be made public including names and addresses and will be available on the Council’s website.


In the event of an appeal that proceeds for a householder or minor commercial application, any representations made about the application will be passed to the Secretary of State and there will be no opportunity to make any further representations.
